Hi! We're Katie & Steve, and we fell in love with the Yorkshire Coast years ago and now split our time between a caravan near Bridlington (our daughter’s favourite place in the world!) and our home inland in Nottinghamshire.
When we (just Katie actually!) saw The Beach House Yorkshire for sale, we couldn’t believe it hadn’t been snapped up by someone already… but a look inside explained why. The property was run down and badly needed work, but with the stunning views it offered over Cayton Bay and across to Scarborough Castle, we decided to take on the project and spent months lovingly renovating it.
Now, The Beach House Yorkshire has been transformed into a cosy haven by the sea. We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to guests of all ages, and are especially welcoming of dogs, who are part of the family and deserve a great holiday just as much as humans!
Whether you are looking for a relaxing break, a dark skies experience, a creative retreat, a place to rest your weary feet on an active break or a full-on family adventure, The Beach House Yorkshire is the perfect base, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
Forget them, let's get to the real star of the show.
I'm Coco, a pretty pampered Labradoodle. I like long walks on the beach, playing in the sea, and then curling up by the fire and having a nap.
The humans give me a good life, as they should. I lie on the settee at home so why wouldn't I on holiday?
I think Cayton Bay is a great place to come on holiday if you're a dog because the smells are amazing and the beach is just down the cliff path. Sometimes we walk on the beach and then stop at the Salty Dog for a sausage. Those are good days.
I think you should come and stay here because I can't sniff all the smells on my own. I'm pretty sure animals live in that big blue puddle at the end of the beach, maybe you can help me find them?
Woof!
Coco
